Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu Introduced New Cabinet Members to Ministry Teams

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu introduced the newly appointed members of the Government to their respective ministry teams, reports TRIBUNA. He wished each minister and their teams success, emphasizing that through joint effort, the Republic of Moldova will continue its transformation into a prosperous country and accelerate its path toward European integration.

The Prime Minister noted that the current Government combines policy continuity with fresh ideas and modern expertise, aimed at speeding up national development and delivering tangible results for citizens. He particularly stressed the goal of building a competitive economy.

“We must move forward. The presented governance program will be supplemented with additional actions. Our focus is on economic growth, attracting investment, and transforming the consumption-based economy into an investment-driven one. I believe that through joint effort, we will succeed,” stated the Prime Minister.

The following ministers were introduced to their teams:

  • Eugen Osmochescu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization
  • Valeriu Chiveri, Deputy Prime Minister at the Bureau for Reintegration Policies
  • Vladislav Cojuhari, Minister of Justice
  • Andrian Gavriliță, Minister of Finance
  • Natalia Plugaru, Minister of Labour and Social Protection
  • Emil Ceban, Minister of Health
  • Gheorghe Hajder, Minister of Environment
  • Cristian Jardan, Minister of Culture

Prime Minister Munteanu thanked the former ministers for their work and dedication, noting that the results achieved during previous mandates significantly contributed to Moldova’s progress on the path to EU integration.

The new Government was invested on October 31 with the vote of 55 MPs, and the oath of office was taken on November 1. The governance program “EU, Peace, Development,” presented by Prime Minister Munteanu, aims to fulfill the Government’s mission of EU accession and deliver concrete benefits to citizens even before the formal integration process is completed—such as investments, well-paid jobs, modern public services, and a friendly, efficient administration.
