Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu announced that he and his team are traveling to Brussels to discuss “government priorities and new ways through which, with EU support, we can rapidly advance the necessary reforms,” TRIBUNA reports.
“I will take part in the first forum organized by Commissioner Marta Kos on EU enlargement, to speak about accession as a joint investment in the stability, security, and prosperity of the entire European continent. At the European Business Summit, I will present our national vision for transforming Moldova into a credible partner, open to investment and ready to fully integrate into the European single market.”
“We’re bringing three clear messages:
- Moldova is undergoing a fast-paced transformation into a European state.
- We have a clear plan for ensuring sustainable economic growth.
- Through concrete and continuous actions, we are becoming a contributor to peace and security in the region,” he emphasized.
Munteanu noted that tomorrow he will hold several meetings, including with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, António Costa, Kaja Kallas, and Marta Kos. He will also meet with Romanian MEPs and have an initial dialogue with the Moldovan diaspora.
“Our message everywhere will be firm: Moldova has proven through concrete actions that it is capable and ready to fulfill all commitments necessary to become a European state and a contributor to European economy and security,” he concluded.
