Ion Sula, First Vice President of the European Social Democratic Party (PSDE), expressed regret that pro-European extra-parliamentary parties were not invited to participate in consultations on Moldova’s new government program. He emphasized that while a parliamentary majority allows for a single-party cabinet, it also carries the responsibility to govern for all citizens.
Sula called for a more transparent and inclusive policy-making process, especially during a time when national unity and trust are crucial. He outlined PSDE’s priorities for Moldova’s development, including public administration reform, economic modernization, energy and food security, and improved education and healthcare systems.
He reaffirmed PSDE’s commitment to a pro-European, democratic, and socially responsible path, stating the party is ready to contribute constructively with real solutions and expertise.
