The Single Program Document for 2025–2027 has been supplemented with 29 new regional development projects. The new projects mainly focus on expanding water supply and sewage networks, modernizing elevators in residential buildings, and developing economic, tourism, cultural, and sports infrastructure, TRIBUNA reports.

The investments include water supply projects in Bălți, Strășeni, and Călărași, sewage and wastewater treatment systems in Ialoveni and Criuleni, as well as the modernization of elevators in residential buildings in several cities across the country.

Other projects to be supported include the development of agri-food infrastructure in Nisporeni, the “Hîncești-Arena Plus” recreational area, the Măgdăcești Regional Cultural and Sports Center, the rehabilitation of tourism sites in northern Moldova, as well as the design of the “Universul” Center for Contemporary Culture and Art and the preparation of a feasibility study for the construction of the National Stadium in Chișinău.

The estimated total value of the projects is approximately 708 million lei, of which around 632.8 million lei is to be allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development. Following these amendments, the Single Program Document will include a total of 657 regional development projects and 1,866 local development projects.
