The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today accredited new national and international observers for the parliamentary elections of 24 February 2019.
As TRIBUNA informs, it is about the accreditation of a national observer from the Promo-LEX Public Association for polling stations set up outside the Republic of Moldova, 61 national observers from the Public Association of Children and Youth “MOŞTENITORII”, 6 national observers from the Public Association Community for advocacy and public politics “WatchDog.md”, 4 national observers from the electoral contestant Klimenco Valerii, candidate for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, 463 national observers from the “Promo-LEX” Public Association, 6 observers national from Civic Center for Consultancy and Civic Education, 1 national observer and 3 international observers from the Office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Moldova, as well as 1 national observer and 25 international representatives from Silba – Initiative for Dialogue and Democracy “in Denmark to monitor the parliamentary elections of 24 February 2019.
At the same time, the CEC accredited 5 international observers from the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM), 2 international observers from the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova, an international observer from the Independence State Observation Mission (CSI), 1 international observer from the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), and accredited an international observer from the Senate of the Republic of Poland to monitor the parliamentary elections of February 24 2019.
