The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) will have a new member of Parliament, Victor Mătrăgună, TRIBUNA reports.

At its meeting today, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) took note of the vacancy of a parliamentary seat allocated to the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS).

The vacancy arose following the resignation of Victoria Belous, who had been elected to Parliament on the PAS electoral list.

The CEC will ask the Constitutional Court to declare alternate candidate Victor Mătrăgună, from the same party’s list, duly elected and to validate his parliamentary mandate.
