SIS: “Eurasia” Organization Declared an Extremist Organization

On July 24, 2026, the Chișinău Court of Appeal admitted the request submitted by the Information and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova (SIS) and found that the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization for the Promotion of International Cooperation “Eurasia” (Автономная некоммерческая организация содействия международного сотрудничества „Евразия”) had carried out extremist activities, declaring it an extremist organization, TRIBUNA reports.

Based on the court ruling, the organization was included in the Register of Extremist Organizations and Materials of an Extremist Nature.

The Information and Security Service reminds citizens that carrying out, organizing, or financing the activities of an extremist organization, participating in its activities, as well as distributing materials issued by such an organization may result in criminal liability under Articles 346¹ and 346² of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova.

In this context, SIS recommends that citizens of the Republic of Moldova, including those residing abroad:

  • avoid any form of cooperation with the “Eurasia” Organization;
  • do not participate in activities organized by the organization or involving its participation;
  • do not distribute or promote materials produced or disseminated by the organization;
  • terminate, where applicable, any form of cooperation with it.

SIS stated that it will continue taking legally предусмотренные measures to prevent and counter extremist activities in order to protect Moldova’s national security and constitutional order.
