Alexandru Munteanu, the outgoing acting prime minister, announced that starting tomorrow, in accordance with the decree signed by President Maia Sandu, the role of acting prime minister will be carried out by Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Osmochescu, TRIBUNA reports.

“I thank him for accepting this responsibility and wish him much success in this mission. I have full confidence that he will ensure the continuity of the Government’s work with responsibility,” said Alexandru Munteanu, who resigned from the position of prime minister on 3 July.
