A conscript of the National Army fatally injured himself with his service weapon yesterday, February 12, while on duty at his post, TRIBUNA reports.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the tragic incident occurred at 18:15. The medical team that arrived at the scene confirmed the soldier’s death.

The police are investigating the case.

At the same time, the Minister of Defense has ordered an internal inquiry to clarify all circumstances.
