The Constitutional Court has confirmed the results of the parliamentary elections held on September 28. The High Court also validated the mandates of the elected deputies. A ruling to this effect was approved by the judges of the Constitutional Court, reports TRIBUNA.

As a result of the parliamentary elections, 5 political formations passed the electoral threshold and gained access to the legislature. These include the Political Party “Party of Action and Solidarity,” which obtained 55 mandates; the Electoral Bloc “Patriotic Bloc of Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova,” with 26 mandates; the Electoral Bloc “Alternative,” with 8 mandates. The Political Party “Our Party” and the Political Party “Democracy at Home” each obtained 6 mandates.

The Constitutional Court also confirmed the lists of substitute candidates. According to the Law on the Status of Members of Parliament, if a mandate is declared vacant, it will be assigned to the next substitute on the list of the respective electoral competitor.

Over 1.6 million voters participated in the parliamentary elections on September 28, 2025, with a voter turnout of 52.24%.

In the coming days, but no later than 30 days from the date of the elections, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, will convene the new composition of Parliament for its inaugural session.
