Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru held a meeting in Bucharest with her Romanian counterpart, Radu Marinescu, TRIBUNA reports.
“Romania is and remains a strategic partner and a friend on the European path of the Republic of Moldova. The cooperation between our ministries is extremely valuable, built on trust, exchange of best practices, and tangible results. We continue to rely on Romania’s experience in aligning legislation with EU standards,” the Minister stated during the dialogue.
The parties explored new areas of cooperation, including improving efficiency and digitalization in the justice sector, protecting victims of domestic violence, and training professionals in financial investigations, among others.
For his part, Minister Radu Marinescu congratulated the Republic of Moldova on the clear choice expressed by its citizens in the parliamentary elections — a firm decision in favor of the European path and democratic values. He assured of the continued effective cooperation between the ministries and full support for Moldova’s modernization and European integration, for which we are grateful.
