Andrei Năstase, an independent candidate for Parliament, is currently visiting the United Kingdom. He has already held discussions with representatives of the ruling Labour Party regarding ways to improve the UK–Moldova agreement, so that all Moldovans living in the UK can exchange their driving licenses—not just those with five years of residency, TRIBUNA reports.
In a video posted on Facebook, he said he’s looking forward to tonight’s meeting at 7:00 PM with fellow Moldovans in Northampton to discuss these issues, as well as other concerns affecting the city’s and the UK’s large Moldovan community.
