What does the former Minister of Justice, former Director of the Intelligence and Security Service, lawyer Vitalie Pîrlog do?

Vitalie Pîrlog, former director of the Intelligence and Security Service, former Minister of Justice, is involved in several business and consulting activities, but conducts them all abroad. He communicated this himself when asked by our reporter what he had been doing after his term at Interpol ended.

“I am no longer involved with Interpol. After my term ended, I decided to continue my career in business and consulting. I collaborate with a prestigious international cybersecurity company, benefiting from my previous experience at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and Interpol. This background makes me often sought after by lawyers both domestically and internationally, by the academic field, as well as by other specialists and even journalists, due to my expertise in relevant subjects. With honor, I participate in various workshops and training sessions on platforms specialized in human rights protection. I am pleased to share my comprehensive and specialized knowledge with the public in such contexts and thus contribute to the dissemination of essential information in the field. These opportunities allow me to stay connected to the professional sphere and to continue evolving in my post-Interpol career,” he said.

When asked about his future plans, Vitalie Pîrlog said that he would soon be joining the board of a large international corporation, thus moving to a much higher level in his career. He declined to provide further details, noting that this information would soon become public.

Moreover, when asked about some verbal attacks against him, which have resonated lately, Vitalie Pîrlog said he regreted that a so-called civic activist “chose to mislead the public with the money of criminals”. “I’ve done additional research and have obtained evidence that these attacks are inspired and paid for by criminals who did not approve of my activity in my previous positions. However, these attacks do not bother me. Let them remain on the conscience of those who make them. I am continuing my career. I am at an extremely important stage in my life and cannot afford the luxury to waste time and effort on nonsense paid for by criminals,” he further declared.
