The Speaker of the Parliament met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Moldova Sergey Chichyuk.

The parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation between our countries, especially in the trade and economic sphere. In particular, a list of proposals for bilateral investment projects in the agricultural sector, as well as in the field of environmental protection and health will be formulated.

Proposals will be considered in parliamentary friendship groups, in a joint intergovernmental commission, and directly between economic agents.

“I expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the launched initiatives. The Republic of Belarus has always been an open partner of the Republic of Moldova, we will be glad to continue our good cooperation,” said Greceanii.
