The parliamentary committee on national security, defense and public order approved today a draft decision on appointment of Alexandr Esaulenco as Director of the Information and Security Service (SIS).

His candidacy was supported by all MPs present at the meeting and will be proposed for consideration.

Alexandr Esaulenco is 42 years old and since November 2018 he has served as SIS deputy head.
