In an interview for TRIBUNA portal, the democrat deputy Sergiu Sirbu was asked how he thinks the political situation in the Republic of Moldova will evolve.
“I trust that the political situation will remain stable. This is, in fact, the first and most important thing. Everything that happens on a political plane must respect the will of the citizens and the constitutional framework. I believe we will have a new Government this spring with a governance program focused on the development of infrastructure, modernization of districts, increasing of living standards in the country and further implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union. There are things people expect and the political class has to meet these expectations, “he said.
Asked how he thinks the Republic of Moldova will look over 4 years, Sergiu Sirbu said: “If we will have a governance like that of PDM in the last 3 years, Moldova will be over 4 years a rising country with an improved infrastructure, well-paid jobs, higher pensions, with a system of education and a health system capable of providing better services to people. So we have the chance of a long period of economic growth and political stability, and this prospect would enjoy people, I’m sure. “
