Andrei Năstase: PPDA/PAS platform is open to people who are not necessarily inclined to the right

The president of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPDA) Andrei Năstase said the platform they created together with the Party “Acton and Solidarity” (PAS) for the parliamentary elections is open to people who are not necessarily inclined to the right, IPN reports.

In the talk show “Politics of Natalia Morari” on TV8 channel, the politician said the alternative proposed by the PAS and PPDA was built with the mandate they received from the people on September 13, 2015. “We strengthen it daily and will take part in the elections in this format,” stated Andrei Năstase.

He noted the common platform cannot accept candidates of other anti-oligarchic parties. “For example, we had no guarantee from the Communists who defected to the PDM and have no guarantee for the people who are now members of the PCRM and can tomorrow join the PDM,” stated the leader of the PPDA.

Andrei Năstase said they do not accept independent candidates who would be supported by the platform. “Those who assume the desiderata, objectives and principles of the PPDA, PAS and this bloc will be supported by this entity as all kinds of interests promoted by Plahotniuc and the PDM hid behind independents like Silvia Radu. We will follow strictly this formula,” stated the politician.
