481 km of roads in the country’s localities have already been built or repaired under the “Good Roads for Moldova” program, which is 37.7% of the 1,275 km provided for rehabilitation. The value of work performed is 692.5 million lei.

The government’s communication and protocol department noted that another 241 million lei were earmarked to finance work on construction sites that are now open. There are 189.5 km or 14.9% of the total planned.

Under the program, 1,275 km of roads will be rehabilitated in 1,200 localities. For this purpose, 1.6 billion lei were allocated.
