Moldovan PM laid flowers in memory of victims of 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks

Prime Minister Pavel Filip together with cabinet members today laid flowers to the US Embassy in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The premier said that this gesture is a human compassion for the people of the United States of America. “Moldova, government and every man in this country, we are all united with the United States. From my point of view, terrorist acts are among the most serious crimes and do not know moral or other justification. We have declared not once that Moldova will always be alongside those who have suffered from terrorist acts and given the potential and capabilities we have we will contribute to their prevention”, he said.

Today we mark 16 years since the terrorist attacks in the United States, considered the bloodiest in the history of this country.
