Fiodor Gagauz, the politician who announced his intention to run for the position of Bashkan of Gagauzia on November 15, held a “substantive discussion” today with Kim Zapfel, Acting Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.
According to the former MP, they discussed the elections in Gagauzia, which are scheduled to take place on November 15, and their importance for the autonomy and for the country as a whole.
“I am convinced that these elections should mark the beginning of a new stage in the development of Gagauzia. Therefore, the attention of international partners to the elections in the autonomy is particularly important,” said Fiodor Gagauz.
