Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu visited the Chișinău Electrical Substation today to address all remaining issues necessary for completing the substation and commissioning the entire project, enabling the commercial operation of the 400 kV Vulcănești–Chișinău Power Line to begin, TRIBUNA reports.
At this stage, five teams involving approximately 55 people are working to complete the final interventions, with some works being carried out in two shifts.
The contractor assured that every effort would be made to ensure that testing and energization of the autotransformers, as well as work on the related infrastructure and other auxiliary components, are completed within the required timeframe.
The main installation works have been completed, while the protection, automation, and remote-control systems, which are essentially the “heart of the substation,” are currently being configured and will subsequently undergo testing.
