Prime Minister: The Republic of Moldova receives a clear signal of confidence from abroad

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu stated that “the Republic of Moldova is receiving a clear signal of confidence from abroad. Moody’s has upgraded our country’s rating to B2 with a stable outlook — the best level in the last 25 years,” TRIBUNA reports.

According to the Prime Minister, this is not a political opinion, but an independent, technical assessment of how the state manages its economy and public finances.

“For citizens, this translates into concrete benefits:

  • greater confidence from investors
  • better financing conditions
  • more opportunities for development, jobs, and community projects

This improvement reflects the direction we are taking: stronger institutions, real reforms, energy independence, and clear steps toward the European Union.

It is also the result of coordinated work across institutions: when there is coherence, responsibility, and well‑grounded decisions, the results become visible — including from the outside.

Moldova is becoming more stable, more predictable, and more respected. Moldova is moving forward,” the head of Government added.
