A delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania is paying an official visit to the Republic of Moldova from 23 to 25 February. The delegation is led by Remigijus Motuzas, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, TRIBUNA reports.
During the visit, the Lithuanian MPs will hold meetings with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Speaker of Parliament, Igor Grosu. Discussions are also scheduled with the Deputy Speaker and Chair of the Foreign Policy Committee, Doina Gherman, the Chair of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Lithuania, Ion Babici, and its members, as well as with Carolina Perebinos, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
The programme of the visit includes an exchange of views on interparliamentary cooperation, Moldova’s European integration path, and opportunities to expand bilateral partnership across various sectors.
