Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi will pay a working visit to the Republic of Lithuania on September 4, TRIBUNA reports.
The head of Moldova’s diplomacy will meet with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, followed by a joint press conference.
The Deputy Prime Minister will also meet with Speaker of the Seimas Juozas Olekas, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Remigijus Motuzas, Chairman of the Committee on National Security and Defence Rimantas Sinkevičius, as well as the Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of Lithuania, Asta Skaisgirytė.
The discussions will focus on the priorities of Moldovan-Lithuanian cooperation, developments on the Republic of Moldova’s European agenda, advancing economic and investment partnerships, as well as cooperation in the field of regional security.
Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will participate as a speaker in the discussion panel titled “The European Path of the Republic of Moldova and the Country’s Foreign and Security Policy Priorities,” organized by the Vilnius Center for Geopolitics and Security Studies.
