In just one week, the Police removed drugs worth over 20 million lei from circulation.

Specialized and territorial subdivisions of the General Inspectorate of Police carried out extensive nationwide operations aimed at combating the illegal circulation of drugs.

Contravention results:

• 78 contravention cases investigated;
• 9 searches conducted.

Criminal results:

• 15 criminal cases initiated;
• 17 searches carried out — at homes, in transport, and on individuals.

Seized substances: hashish, PVP, cocaine, mephedrone, MDMA, marijuana.

The total value of the drugs removed from circulation on the black market amounts to 20,236,600 lei.
