The Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova has two new deputy directors. Starting today, Carolina Gargaun has taken over as Deputy Director for Revenue and Customs Control, while Viorel Doagă has assumed the role of Deputy Director for Anti-Fraud and Compliance, TRIBUNA reports.
The announcement was made by the Director of the Customs Service, Radu Vrabie, who stated:
“Carolina was my colleague for six years in two USAID programs, during which we managed to promote important actions for the modernization of the Customs Service. I am glad she accepted this challenge and I am convinced she is an excellent addition to the public service of the Republic of Moldova.
Viorel brings extensive experience within the Customs Service, and I am sure this will significantly contribute to strengthening the capacities of Compliance Department the Anti-Fraud and.
This is the management team with which we will continue the modernization of the customs system.
At the same time, I want to thank the former deputy directors, Mrs. Lidia Ababii and Mr. Radu Radu, for the results achieved and wish them much success in their new roles.”
