“Șor may have decided to stop interfering in Moldova, but our institutions will not halt criminal proceedings against this fugitive until justice is served,” stated Doina Gherman, Vice President of Parliament, following Ilan Șor’s announcement today, TRIBUNA reports.

The politician said that the criminal group never intended to invest in economic development or genuine social projects, but only to destabilize Moldova, bringing chaos and violence.

“They have failed — our people did not sell themselves for dirty money stolen from us, did not fall for false promises, and the state institutions maintained order and peace.

We will not allow Moldova to be turned by criminals like Șor into their money-laundering ground and into a state without law and without a future,” emphasized Doina Gherman.
