Denmark takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Cristina Gherasimov: We have big and ambitious plans for the next six months

On 1 July, Denmark takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the next six months. While in Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with Ambassador Carsten Grønbech-Jensen, Denmark’s Permanent Representative to the EU.

During the meeting, they discussed Moldova’s European agenda and plans for the future.

‘We have big and ambitious plans for the next six months and we intend to advance as much as possible in the process of negotiations for EU accession. In its European journey, Moldova enjoys the friendship and full support of the authorities in Copenhagen,’ said Cristina Gherasimov.
