Trans-Oil Group announced that its Romanian subsidiary has obtained all necessary approvals for the acquisition of Frial SA, the operator of the port terminal in the Port of Constanta

Trans-Oil Group announced that its Romanian subsidiary, Aragvi Sea Terminal SRL, has obtained all necessary approvals from the Romanian Government and the Competition Council for the acquisition of Frial SA, the operator of the port terminal in the Port of Constanta.

“These approvals confirm the transparency of the Trans-Oil Group, its shareholders and management team, as well as the viability of our business model. We are honored by the trust placed in us and we thank the Romanian authorities for their constant support and exemplary cooperation!”, Trans-Oil stated.

Following an assessment carried out by the Commission for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments (CEISD) and the Competition Council, the Government of Romania issued the official decisions authorizing this investment, thus confirming the transparent, legal and beneficial nature of the transaction.

We remind you that, in October 2024, Trans-Oil Group signed the sale-purchase agreement for the acquisition of the majority stake in Frial SA, as part of a broader strategy to expand our logistics and commercial activities in the Port of Constanta — an essential hub for regional trade in cereals and vegetable oils.
