The new Minister of Energy took the oath of office

Dorin Junghietu, the new Minister of Energy, took the oath of office, informs TRIBUNA. 

President Maia Sandu thanked the minister for accepting the challenge and wished him success in his mandate. “The expectations of the citizens and mine depend, first of all, on the completion of the projects that must ensure the increase of energy security. You have to work to ensure, at the best possible prices, electricity, natural gas, thermal energy,” the official said.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean said: “The priorities until the end of the year are clear: to strengthen the energy security of the country, so that we have stability and predictability in the delivery of gas and electricity, but also the most advantageous tariffs, to put things in order and accelerate large investment projects – those in the sphere of renewable energy, energy efficiency and, in particular, the completion of the Vulcanesti-Chisinau line according to the deadlines”.
