In the election race for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova, from October 20, at most 13 candidates will compete, TRIBUNA informs.

Thus, at the moment, there is 1 registered candidate, 11 applicants are collecting signatures, and 1 is awaiting the decision of the Central Electoral Commission:

1.Ion CHICU – Political Party “Moldova Development and Consolidation Party”;

2.Alexandru STOIANOGLO – Political Party “Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova” (registered);

3. Octavian ȚÚU – “TOGETHER” Electoral Bloc;

4. Tudor ULIANOSCHI – a group of citizens;

5. Renato USATÎI – Political Party “Our Party”;

6. Irina VLAH – a group of citizens;

7. Igor MUNTEANU – Political Party Coalition for Unity and Welfare;

8. Maia SANDU – Political Party “Action and Solidarity Party”;

9. Victoria FURTUNĂ – a group of citizens;

10. Andrei NĂSTASE – a group of citizens;

11. Natalia MORARI – a group of citizens;

12. Alexandru ARSENI – a group of citizens.

At the same time, today the CEC is going to present itself on the request for registration of the initiative group constituted by the Party of the Future of Moldova in support of Vasile Tarlev.

It should be noted that documents were also submitted and the CEC decided to reject the requests for registration of the initiative groups in support of the following candidates: Valeriu Pleșca, Ludmila Corsun, Vasile Bolea, Valentin Borodachi, Avelin Tabarcea.
