The head of the European Union Delegation, Jānis Mažeiks, is, since yesterday, an honorary citizen of the city of Ungheni, informs TRIBUNA. 

The ambassador of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova was decorated for his contribution to the development of the city.

Over the past four years, the EU has provided more than 10 million euros to finance projects that have improved infrastructure, the education system, the business environment and other essential services in Ungheni.
