The Juridical, Appointments and Immunities Commission received Tatiana Răducanu’s resignation as a member of both vetting commissions – announced Veronica Roșca, the Commission’s president, TRIBUNA informs.
She also said that no matter how strongly they oppose corruption in the system, the process of evaluating the integrity of prosecutors and judges will continue.
The resignation request was announced after a letter from the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office appeared in the public space, in which it is mentioned that Tatiana Răducanu had connections with Ilan Șor and Veaceslav Platon.
