At today’s Government meeting, four ambassadors were recalled from their posts and replaced by new appointees, TRIBUNA reports.

• • Emil Druc was recalled from his position as Ambassador to Lithuania. Angelica Munteanu was appointed as his successor.

• • Viorel Cibotaru was recalled from his position as Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg and Head of the Mission to NATO. Valeriu Mija was appointed to replace him.

• • Andrei Popov was recalled from his position as Ambassador to Greece and Cyprus. Alexandru Codreanu was appointed as his successor.

• • Iulian Grigoriță was recalled from his position as Ambassador to Qatar and Kuwait. Vitalie Rusu was appointed to replace him.

The Government also approved the resignation of Sergiu Gurin from his position as State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research.

Meanwhile, Ivan Țurcan was appointed State Secretary of the Government within the Bureau for Reintegration Policies.
