The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova is participating at the EPP Congress held on March 6-7, 2024, in Bucharest.
The LDPM is represented by its vice-presidents Lidia Sanduleac, Sergiu Burlacu, and Ion Ciontoloi.
The EPP Congress aims to extensively discuss issues within the European Union, threats to the security of the European space, sustainable stability of the EU, development of villages, towns, and regions within the EU, approval of resolutions, and the endorsement of the EPP candidate for the leadership of the European Commission.
The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova has been part of the EPP since February 2010, actively promoting and taking significant steps towards the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
With the support of its partners, LDPM has succeeded in obtaining the Association and Free Trade Agreement with the European Union, the Visa Liberalization Regime with the EU for Moldovan citizens, and has set Moldova on the path to prosperity and security through EU integration.
The Republic of Moldova is part of Europe, and the commitments made at the EPP Congress should bring prosperity and understanding within the European Union.
