The MP of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) Vladimir Bolea was named minister of agriculture and food industry, IPN reports.

On Friday morning, the Government informed that the new minister will be presented to the Ministry’s team by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița. Nothing was said about the appointment or the signing of the appointment decree earlier.

In Parliament, Vladimir Bolea led the standing commission on agriculture and food industry.

So far the post of minister of agriculture and food industry was held by Viorel Gherciu. Recently, he was the target of a no-confidence motion proposed by the parliamentary group of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, but the MPs of the PAS majority voted against and the minister kept his post.
