Today, Prime Minister Ion Chicu had a meeting with President Igor Dodon. The event was focused on a number of issues in education, drawing investments and job creation, as well as the level of preparation of the national authorities in the context of the spread of the coronavirus, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Chicu informed about the actions taken to prevent and combat the spread of the coronavirus epidemic in the Republic of Moldova, and confirmed that the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, jointly with the Border Police Department and Customs Service, is carrying out an action plan in this regard.

The prime minister announced he will attend the enlarged board meeting of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, a lot of meetings with investors interested in the Republic of Moldova and some projects due to be approved at the Government meeting on 26 February 2020.
