Prosecutor General's Office sent a report on the investigation of the "theft of the century" to the leadership of the country

The Prosecutor General’s Office sent a report on the investigation of the theft of funds from the three troubled banks in Moldova to the country’s top leadership — the President, the speaker of the parliament and the prime minister.

A press release published on the agency’s website states that the Prosecutor General’s Office will make every effort to complete the criminal prosecution of persons involved in the case.

Recall that at the meeting of the High Security Council, President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon demanded that the competent authorities provide its members with reports on all outstanding cases in the Republic of Moldova within 10 days, the main of which is theft of a billion dollars from the Moldovan banks.
