Today, at 12.00, was examined the request for revision submitted by former Prime Minister Vladimir Filat against the sentence of the Court Buiucani on June 27, 2016, and the decisions of the appeal courts.

As TRIBUNA informs, the hearing was postponed, after the defence demanded the two judges to be challenged.

We remind that on June 27, 2016, Vlad Filat was convicted to 9 years in prison by magistrates of the Court Buiucani for traffic of influence and passive corruption. The decision was maintained by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Justice. The case came to the European Court of Human Rights.
