The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) has published an analysis of the fiscal policy proposed for 2027, titled “The PAS ‘Welfare’ Burden, or How Citizens Will Pay for the Government’s Incompetence,” TRIBUNA reports.
“We explain, beyond percentages and tax formulas, what the new tax increases will mean for the budget of each family, for farmers, entrepreneurs, property owners, the HoReCa sector, and the economy as a whole,” said Vlad Filat, the party’s leader.
According to the politician, the study’s conclusion is straightforward: a larger budget does not automatically mean a stronger economy if additional revenues are generated through increasing pressure on an increasingly fragile economy.

“Those who would like a printed copy can pick up the book from the PLDM headquarters at 19/1 Mihai Eminescu Street, Chișinău.
We invite you to read it, share it, and discuss together the serious effects of the 2027 fiscal policy — effects that represent the failure of the Maia Sandu–PAS government”, Vlad Filat added.
