Former Mayor of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca, accused in the file of parking lots, will remain under judicial control for another 60 days. The decision was taken today by the magistrates of the Chişinău district court.
According to prosecutors, Nistor Grozavu, deputy mayor of Chisinau, will be heard at the next hearing. Along with this, four other people will file testimony with the magistrates.
The ex-mayor of Chisinau was detained by anti-corruption prosecutors and CNA officers last year, being accused of lobbyism and passive corruption.
If found guilty, Chirtoaca risks up to seven years in prison. He pleads innocently.
