President Igor Dodon today had a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States to Moldova, His Excellency James D. Pettit, the presidential press service has reported.

The sides exchanged opinions on the social and political situation in Moldova, as well as prospects for the extension and deepening of the bilateral cooperation relations.

Igor Dodon congratulated the U.S. ambassador on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
