European Council President António Costa held a phone call with President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, TRIBUNA reports.

“Moldova’s accession to the EU remains our shared commitment. We look forward to opening two negotiation clusters next week, with all remaining clusters to be negotiated by the end of the year.

We also discussed Moldova’s security situation. The European Union is united in its response to Russia’s increasingly reckless hybrid campaigns,” António Costa wrote following the conversation.
