Brigadier General Charles Wes Morrison, Deputy Adjutant General of the North Carolina National Guard, met yesterday with Serghei Diaconu, Director General of Moldova’s National Crisis Management Center, TRIBUNA reports.
The two officials exchanged experience on crisis preparedness, secure communications, public-private sector coordination, and emergency response.
“This meeting reflects the broader diplomatic effort of the U.S. Embassy to advance regional security and strengthen institutional cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Moldova. Building on the long-standing partnership under the North Carolina–Moldova State Partnership Program, this collaboration deepens professional ties and strengthens Moldova’s capacity to prepare for and respond to future crises,” the U.S. Embassy in Chișinău said.
