Socialist Party leader Igor Dodon spoke this morning about “the state language, the Russian language, and the importance of knowing languages in a multinational society such as the Republic of Moldova” — an issue that sparked considerable discussion yesterday after a minister refused to answer questions in Russian, TRIBUNA reports.
The politician believes that this issue should not be turned into a reason for division and political confrontation.
“In a multinational society, we must respect one another and find solutions to the problems that truly concern people: economic and social difficulties, living standards, and the issues that are awaiting concrete solutions,” the political leader emphasized.
