State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the copies of the letters of credence of the designated Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carolina Perebinos received the copies of the letters of credence of the designated Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Moldova, Siiri Königsberg, TRIBUNA reports.

According to the Ministry, the appointment of Ms. Siiri Königsberg as the first resident Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Chișinău marks an important milestone in strengthening Estonia’s diplomatic presence in the Republic of Moldova and deepening bilateral dialogue.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the bilateral agenda and discussed cooperation priorities for the coming period in the context of expanding Estonia’s diplomatic presence in Chișinău.

State Secretary Carolina Perebinos welcomed Estonia’s decision to establish a resident diplomatic mission in the Republic of Moldova, emphasizing that this development will facilitate direct institutional contacts and create favorable conditions for more dynamic bilateral cooperation.

For her part, Siiri Königsberg reaffirmed Estonia’s interest in maintaining an active dialogue with the authorities of the Republic of Moldova and in making the most of cooperation opportunities in the period ahead.

In conclusion, Carolina Perebinos wished the ambassador success in her forthcoming mandate and reiterated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ commitment to deepening cooperation in this new stage of Moldovan–Estonian relations.
