Moldova–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova to host the first edition of “China Expo Auto, Mobility & Agrotech” in August

The Moldova–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI RM), announced at an IPN press conference the launch of the first edition of the international exhibition “China Expo Auto, Mobility & Agrotech”, scheduled for 22–23 August 2026 at Arena Chișinău, TRIBUNA reports.

Organizers highlighted the exhibition’s objectives, the business opportunities it creates, and Moldova’s potential to become a regional platform for economic cooperation and commercial distribution.

The event will bring together international manufacturers, importers, dealers, investors, and companies from the automotive sector, electric mobility, green energy, logistics, and agricultural technologies. Over 10,000 square meters will be dedicated to showcasing the latest solutions and technologies developed on the Chinese market.

Organizers expect the participation of around 100 Chinese manufacturers and over 30,000 visitors from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, and other countries in the region.

Sergiu Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, emphasized that the exhibition represents an important opportunity for local entrepreneurs to establish direct contacts with international producers, without intermediaries—facilitating commercial relations, optimizing logistics, and attracting investment.

Boris Foca, President of the Moldova–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that “China Expo Auto, Mobility & Agrotech” is not only an exhibition but also an economic platform and a bridge for collaboration. He noted that the event sends a signal that Moldova can think regionally and integrate more actively into new global economic flows. According to him, the exhibition aims to support Moldova’s development as a regional hub for logistics, distribution, and commercial partnerships.

The exhibition will feature several thematic zones dedicated to electric and hybrid vehicles, the SUV and family segment, premium models, urban mobility solutions, smart agricultural technologies, and modern agricultural equipment.

Visitors will be able to discover and test next‑generation electric and hybrid vehicles, charging stations, green energy technologies, agricultural drones, modern machinery, and intelligent farming systems.

Brands and companies that have already confirmed participation include Zeekr, Jetour, BYD, ROX, IM Motors, and Lixiang. In the agrotech segment, participants include Agro Profi, Agropiese TGR, Biotron, and Hydraulic Service, while the green energy and electric mobility sector will feature GEnergy and EcoDrive. The logistics company Gradalogistic will also take part.

With its international scope and strong focus on economic cooperation, “China Expo Auto, Mobility & Agrotech” aims to become one of the region’s leading exhibition and business platforms, dedicated to investment, technology transfer, and commercial partnerships between Moldova, China, and partner countries.
