Boris Foca, President of the Moldova–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced what he called “an important new step” in his international activity: he has been appointed as an arbitrator at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) for a five‑year mandate, from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2031, TRIBUNA reports.

He noted that this appointment is not only a professional recognition, but also an opportunity to contribute to strengthening international economic relations and improving commercial arbitration mechanisms between Europe and China.

“I remain committed to supporting the business community in the Republic of Moldova and the region in accessing global markets, building reliable partnerships, and finding efficient solutions in international trade,” Foca stated.

He also expressed gratitude for the trust and support offered.
