A new political party has been officially registered in the Republic of Moldova — the political party “Pentru Țară” (“For the Country”), TRIBUNA reports.

The announcement was made by the founders of the party, who stated that the formation positions itself as a centrist political force focused on defending national interests, strengthening the sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova, and developing the country’s economy.

Representatives of the new political party say that their main goal is to serve the people and the state, not the party headquarters or external political influence centers.

According to the party’s founders, in more than three decades of independence, Moldova has gone through a difficult process of consolidating its statehood. However, the representatives of the “For the Country” Party believe that today the country is facing a series of serious challenges: economic decline, rising social tensions, corruption, and a massive exodus of people abroad.
