In the EU accession negotiation process, the implementation of anti‑corruption measures is a key requirement. No negotiation chapter can be closed until sufficient actions on integrity and anti‑corruption are demonstrated, TRIBUNA reports, referring to the Bureau for European Integration (BIE).
In this context, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, held discussions with law‑enforcement authorities within the working group of the Anti‑Corruption Platform.
“We discussed current challenges, planned measures, and how we coordinate our efforts to advance the actions set out in the National Programme for EU Accession 2025–2029 and in the ‘Rule of Law’ roadmap,” Cristina Gherasimov stated.
